Stretcher Bar Frames
Sorry I am not mailing Stretcher Bar Frames to the USA at this time.
Stretcher bars are inexpensive wooden embroidery frames in which the fabric can be pulled really tight. The end of the bars have teeth that you slot together to form a frame at any size that you require for your needlework. I recommend the stretcher bar frames to work my hand embroidery kits in because they are very quick to assemble and the fabric stays taught in the frame.
I highly recommend purchasing the brass thumb tacks which are stronger and sharper than office supplies thumb tacks or quilters thumb tacks.
Please visit the following webpage for instructions on how to assemble a stretcher bar frame and choosing the right size for your needlework: Stretcher Bar Frames Information

Needles – Crewel Embroidery
Embroidery or crewel needles have a long eye for easier threading, a slender shaft and a sharp point to the needle so that the stitches can be worked close together and there is more control for the placement of the stitches.
The needles can be used for surface embroidery and sewing.
Crewel/embroidery needles are not suitable for counted thread work as the point of the needle would easily catch the threads of the fabric, distorting the counted work.
Size 10 are my choice needles for fine surface embroidery in which only one single strand of silk thread or embroidery cotton is used.
For very fine embroidery. when only using a single strand of fine thread or for sewing down No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10 gold purl threads use size 12 crewel embroidery.

Needles – Beading
I carry the hard to find short beading needles which are excellent for goldwork embroidery when the size 10 embroidery/crewel needle will not fit through the center of purl or bullion threads. The needles are also good for very fine needle painting/thread painting. The needles are 1 1/4 inch ( 3 1/4 cm) long. The beading needles have a long slender eye for easier threading and a choice of sharp point or tapestry (ball) point. I carry size 12 (finest).
The size 12 short sharp beading needles are equivalent to the size 12 crewel embroidery needles.
I also carry (regular) long beading needles for your beading needs which are 2 inches (5 cm) long.

Transfer Pencil – Chalk
The blue chalk pencil is used to transfer a design from tracing paper to fabric.
Trace your design onto the velum tracing paper. Note that the design will be reversed when you iron the design onto the fabric.
Place the tracing paper with the design down against the cotton fabric and then iron evenly along the back of the tracing paper, applying firm pressure for about 6 to 8 pass-overs.
When you lift the tracing paper off the fabric you are left with a blue outline of your design. The transfer is permanent.
